Excited that my Victorian novella, Mischief at Mulberry Manor, is now published on Amazon! It's about 29,000 words and is set around Twelfth Night in 1859. Part Gothic romance, part ghost story, there's mischief, mystery and a masked ball, while outdoors is now snowy and frosty. The trailer I made is on my reading and writing blog.
My article on 'Alternative Short Story Markets' was published in the October issue of Freelance Market News. It's a great little publication from Writers' Bureau which contains lots of market and competition news.
Very pleased to have a new short story within the pages of My Weekly magazine! 'To be a Family Again' was the lead story in the Sept 25-Oct1, 2012 issue and I loved the accompanying illustration.
Excited to have signed a new contract with MuseItUp Publishing for my next tween book, The Jigsaw Puzzle! It has a tentative release date of March 2013. I'll post a little more about it at a later date.

I'm delighted to announce the release of 'Lavender Dreams', an anthology of ten stories from MuseItUp Publishing, which includes one of my stories. All royalties from the authors and cover artist will be going to cancer research.
It includes some of my short stories previously published in magazines, and a few prize-winning stories. I designed the cover, and decided I might as well make the stories more widely available!
I'm thrilled to have a short story in the Waterloo Collection - an anthology of some of the submitted stories to a recent competition.
My story, 'Dancing into Battle', was one of the third placed Highly Commended prize winners. The book was launched by Professor Richard Holmes, in aid of 'Project Hougoumont'.
Absolutely delighted that my children's novel, 'Summer of the Eagles', has been accepted by another Canadian publisher for release next spring. It's for the Tween range (10-14 years) and is set in Scotland.

It depicts spirited Lydia's innocence, yet hints at the danger that she meets. My Regency novel, 'Dangerous Deceit', has been accepted by the Canadian Publisher, Champagne Books! I'll update the details here once they are available. Especially when I get the cover image. Publication date for the e-book version is May 2011 - can't wait!

A BBC Audiobooks America version has been made of twenty of the Stories for Haiti, including my story 'Reshaping the Past'. Stories for Haiti will be available to download from 15th April. Full details here.
Again, all proceeds are going to the Red Cross.
The fundraising book 100 Stories for Haiti which contains one of my stories is now available. It's a brilliant design with all of the authors' names the whole way round the cover.
All proceeds will be going to the Red Cross for the relief work in Haiti and the paperback book can be ordered from the official website. It is also available as a downloadable e-book from smashwords.
An Advent Calendar of Stories was published in December 2009. The idea was a story for every day of advent, but publication was delayed. It will be released again for next year, although copies should be available through the publisher.
