100 Stories for Haiti

The cover is now ready for the fundraising book 100 Stories for Haiti which contains one of my stories. It's a brilliant design with all of the authors' names the whole way round the cover.

All proceeds will be going to the Red Cross for the relief work in Haiti and the book can be preordered from the official website. Publication date is 4th March for the paperback. It will also be available as an e-book soon.

New Children's Anthology!

An Advent Calendar of Stories was published in December 2009. The idea was a story for every day of advent, but publication was delayed. It will be released again for next year, although copies should be available through the publisher.

My story is 'When Grandpa Comes to Stay' and was inspired by memories of when my blind grandfather lived with us. But my household wasn't quite like Jamie's!

My story is 'Midge and the Pony' which is about a nine year old boy who is teased for being smaller than average. He detests football but is mad on horses. His father is dead and his mother struggles to make ends meet. His class is going on a visit to a country park for pony riding but Midge is devastated that his mother can't afford to let him go. So Midge must find a way to earn some money of his own. But will he be too small for a pony?
